The temperature is controlled by a bulb thermostat set at 75ºC that can be manipulated using a handle located on the front of the manhole cover.
Details
75 liter capacity electric water heater. The inner tank is made of 2 mm thick cold-rolled carbon steel with a 220µ thick vitrified enamel coating in an oven at 860ºC that gives it adequate protection against corrosion. In addition, the device incorporates a magnesium anode (Ø24x230mm) that functions as additional protection. The outer body is made of 0.5 mm thick carbon steel sheet coated with 70µ thick white epoxy-polyester paint. Between the boiler and the outer body it has a 20 mm thick CFC-free expanded polyurethane insulation. The heating of the water is produced by two armored resistances under sheath of 1000W each and 7W/cm2 of surface charge, which gives a total power of 2000W – 230V. Both resistances are mounted on an enamelled carbon steel flange so they can be replaced without having to empty the device.
